UGREEN 15774 Active 4K@60Hz DisplayPort to HDMI Cable (2 Meter) – DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Aluminum Braided Uni-Directional Converter Cord for Gaming Monitors, Projectors, & Workstations
Next-Level Performance via Active Chipset Integration
The UGREEN 15774 Active DisplayPort to HDMI Cable overcomes the limitations of passive adapters. Standard passive cables rely entirely on the source graphics card to handle signal conversion. Unfortunately, this often results in compatibility issues or screen flickering on complex displays.
In contrast, this premium cable features a built-in active converter chipset. This hardware handles the signal translation right inside the connector line. Therefore, it guarantees a stable, flicker-free 18Gbps data pipeline. It ensures wide compatibility across professional workstations. If you need an alternative layout, consider the JSAUX 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Cable (2 Meter).
Fluid 4K Media Streaming
Say goodbye to mouse lag and screen stuttering. Older 30Hz display connections frequently cause these issues. By supporting true 4K resolution at 60Hz, this DP 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 cable ensures smooth transitions. It helps you track fast-moving video timelines accurately.
Dynamic HDR Support
Furthermore, the cable features native High Dynamic Range (HDR) pass-through. Consequently, it unlocks realistic color depth on compatible Ultra-HD televisions. You also get sharp highlights on professional design monitors. If your workstation uses an older Thunderbolt 2 configuration, deploy the UGREEN 20422 Mini DisplayPort to HDMI VGA Adapter.
Built for Massive Multi-Screen Workstations
Maximize your daily productivity with advanced multi-screen management. Because the UGREEN 15774 features an active conversion circuit, it supports AMD Eyefinity Technology. It also works perfectly with SLS multi-screen expansion modes.
This technology allows you to link up to 6 independent displays simultaneously. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for financial analysts and programming environments. It is also great for simulation racing setups. For travel use or quick boardroom presentations, look into the UGREEN 40360 4K Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter.
Premium Materials and Enduring Reliability
Every part of this active converter cable is engineered for long-term reliability. For example, the internal layout uses a thick tinned-copper core. This core is wrapped in multi-layered shielding to block electromagnetic interference. As a result, it eliminates sudden display dropouts.
On the outside, the premium space grey aluminum alloy shells stay cool to the touch. They dissipate heat efficiently during heavy workloads. Similarly, the double-weave nylon braided jacket resists kinking, twisting, and cracking. A handy integrated Velcro strap is also included. This strap keeps your cable neatly wound for clean cable management or travel storage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Is this UGREEN 15774 cable bi-directional? Can I use it to connect my HDMI laptop to a DP monitor?
No, this cable is strictly uni-directional. It only converts signals from a DisplayPort source device to an HDMI display destination. Consequently, it will not work in reverse.
Q2: What are the benefits of an active converter cable over a passive one?
Active cables feature a built-in chipset that physically translates the video signal. This is required for stable 4K@60Hz video playback and advanced multi-display arrays. Passive cables rely entirely on the source device’s internal scaling, which can limit display layouts.
Q3: Can I use this cable to connect a PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch to a DisplayPort monitor?
No. Gaming consoles use HDMI output ports. Therefore, they are completely incompatible with this uni-directional DisplayPort-to-HDMI architecture.
Q4: Does this active cable support multi-screen layouts like AMD Eyefinity?
Yes, it fully supports AMD Eyefinity Multi-Display Technology and SLS configurations. As a result, you can run up to 6 screens simultaneously depending on your graphics card.
Q5: Does this active connection carry audio signals to my display?
Yes, it supports full digital audio pass-through for uncompressed 7.1, 5.1, or stereo 2-channel audio configurations. Thus, it routes sound straight through your HDMI display panel.
Q6: Does it require any driver installations or external software setup?
No, this is a hardware plug-and-play conversion solution. It functions automatically as soon as it is plugged in. Therefore, you do not need any external drivers or software tools.
Q7: Can this cable handle high refresh rates for gaming?
Yes, it easily handles fluid high-refresh formats. For example, it supports up to 1080P at 120Hz alongside its standard ultra-clear 4K at 60Hz output profile.
Q8: What is the main advantage of the aluminum casing on this cable?
The premium aluminum alloy housing draws heat away from the internal active conversion chipset. Consequently, it keeps the line running cool and maintains reliable signal stability.
Q9: Is the nylon braided sheath flexible enough for clean desk routing?
Yes, the double-weave nylon braided jacket provides excellent physical protection. However, it remains flexible enough for clean routing through monitor arms or tight desk spaces.
Q10: Where can I purchase this cable locally with fast regional shipping?
We maintain live inventory tracking across our official e-commerce stores. Order directly from our main regional product page to enjoy fast domestic delivery right to your door.
