Frequently Asked Questions

11 answers
01What is the maximum recording resolution of the UGREEN 15390 capture card?

The UGREEN 15390 capture card records at a maximum resolution of Full HD 1080P at 60FPS. While the device supports 4K input and loop-out, the actual captured video file saved to your computer or streaming software will be in 1080P at 60Hz.

02Does this capture card support 4K passthrough for my gaming console?

Yes, it supports 4K passthrough at 30Hz (4:4:4) or 60Hz (4:2:0). This allows you to connect your console to a 4K monitor or TV via the loop-out port to maintain high-resolution visuals while simultaneously capturing the gameplay on your PC.

03Can I use this device with my PlayStation 5 or PS4?

Yes, it is compatible with PS4 and PS5, provided that you turn off the HDCP setting on your console. The capture card cannot record signals protected by HDCP encryption, so disabling this feature in the console's system settings is necessary for a successful connection.

04Is the UGREEN 15390 compatible with mobile devices?

Yes, it is compatible with mobile phones and tablets running iOS 17 and above, as well as Android devices. It features both USB-A and USB-C connectivity, making it versatile for various modern mobile setups used by content creators in Pakistan.

05Does the capture card require external power or drivers?

No, it is a plug-and-play device that is powered directly via the USB bus. You do not need to install any specific drivers or connect an external power adapter; simply plug it into your computer's USB 3.0 port to begin.

06Can I record commentary while streaming with this device?

Yes, the device includes a dedicated microphone input (Mic-in) specifically for commentary. This allows you to easily overlay your voice onto your gameplay or broadcast without needing complex external audio routing, ensuring clear audio capture during your sessions.

07Why am I seeing a 'Video format not supported' error?

This error occurs if the resolution of the USB capture is set higher than the HDMI input signal resolution. Ensure that your capture settings in software like OBS Studio match or are lower than the resolution being sent by your source device.

08Does the UGREEN 15390 support HDR or 3D video signals?

No, this capture card does not support HDR or 3D video formats. If your source device is outputting in HDR or 3D, you will need to disable these features in the source device's display settings to ensure the capture card can process the signal correctly.

09How does the device manage heat during long streaming sessions?

The device uses an advanced cooling system featuring a durable ABS+PC casing that acts as a heat sink. This design helps dissipate heat effectively during extended use, ensuring stable performance and preventing overheating during long gaming or broadcasting sessions.

10What software can I use with this capture card?
