No, this is a USB-only peripheral switch. It shares USB devices only (keyboard, mouse, drives, etc.). For sharing a monitor as well, you would need a full KVM switch with video support.

2. Can I use it to transfer files directly between the two connected computers?
No. This switch allows the computers to share the USB devices attached to the hub, but it does not create a direct network connection for file transfer between the two host PCs themselves.

3. Will my wireless keyboard/mouse receiver work with this switch?
Yes, perfectly. Plug your wireless receiver into one of the USB ports on the switch. When you switch the button to the corresponding computer, the receiver will connect to that PC, and your wireless peripherals will work.

4. Is the power adapter always necessary?
